Viscous Construction PLC was established in 2000 by a group of Telecom, Construction, and Electrical Engineers Professionals to partake its share in local telecom projects in Ethiopia. The Organization is currently registered and Licensed as a class 1 in Electro mechanic work and Water Work Construction. It has also a trade license, which is renewed for the current fiscal year, obtained from the Addis Ababa City Administration Trade and Industrial Development Bureau. The firm is also registered for VAT by the Federal Inland Revenue Authority and it has a Taxpayer Identification Number given from the same Authority. Currently, the company is engaged in the construction of SAFARICOM and ETHIO-TELECOM for a project of Telecom tower erection, Design supplies Installation Test, and commissioning of power lines for commercial power line connection services. In its early beginnings in the construction sector of civil projects such as Bridges, Water Works, etc., the company gained a good reputation from its clients based on previously completed projects. Besides, the company’s efficient and innovative working methodologies and its strict adherence to attain the required quality of work, has made it to become one of the promising construction firms in the sector. Viscous Construction PLC has undertaken various projects in different parts of Ethiopia. To mention a few: At the Ministry of Irrigation and Lowland in OMO KURAZ, ZTE, HUAWEI, SAFARICOM, and ETHIO-TELECOM projects. The company strives to continually implement systematic organizational Development, Customer satisfaction, Electromechanical expertise, and strong capabilities and it is the main driving force behind the venture. In this respect it regularly solicits management advice from personnel, reviews its policies, procedures and systems and undertakes human resources development activities. Recently, the firm carried out a SWOT (strengths, Weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis to improve its operations.
